“Jewelry in Menorca has traditionally been one of the most important cultural and industrial activity, throughout its long history .
The legacy of the old workshops of silverware in recent centuries has led to an actual rich and varied landscape of Minorcan artisans jewelers whose creations are characterized by high technical quality and an acurate design.
With this exhibition -and with the strong support from the Consell Insular de Menorca- we intend to give an overview of these individuals and through the professionalism of the participants, give brand character to Minorcan jewelry. “
Therefore, on Friday August 14, from 20h, JOIA de MENORCA exhibition will be open to the public in the Centre Artesanal of the Island. In this exhibition you will find a sample of the work of six jewelers captivated by design, creation and metals: Maria Juanico, Xavier Monclús, Isabel Mir, Dani Fàbregues, Santi Capó i Nuria Deyà,.. that have jewelry as a profession.
We would love to see you there!
The exhibition can be visited until the 30th of September.
