A biscuit cutter that is a jewel

I’ve been mulling over the idea of presenting my pieces inspired by “pastisset” biscuit cutters in a different way for some time now.

I can finally show you the result of this idea. It’s a wooden box, lovingly crafted and full of thoughtful details!

When you open the box, the first thing you’ll find is the recipe to encourage you to make “pastissets.” There isn’t just one recipe for these pastries: each family has one that’s passed down from grandparents to children and grandchildren, with small differences that make them unique and special. This is the one we usually make.

Below, you’ll find the actual piece of jewelry: earrings, a pendant, or a bracelet in the size you or the person giving you the gift have chosen from the available options. The jewelry is presented in a display stand I made from recycled cardboard from the workshop. It’s painted the same color as the ceiling, and this blue, which reminds me of anodized titanium, is the same color I’ve used to paint the outside of the box.

In addition to the recipe, and so that you have everything you need to try making them, the box also includes the mold for cutting the “pastissets”.

If you need any further information, contact me and I’ll give you all the details: options to customize your box and updated prices.
